I’ve spent this week reflecting on the audacity of following up two weeks of pure, unadulterated chaos with a post that ends with “Let’s see what November brings.”
Because November replied IMMEDIATELY. (I kind of wish it’d left me on read.) 😅
Long story short, it’s looking like 2026 is committed to going out on a decidedly wild note. Fortunately (unfortunately), I’m very experienced in the art of keeping things running smoothly in the midst of utter insanity.
(To the Universe: that wasn’t a challenge, please do not interpret it as such. 🙏🏾)
Work-wise, I’ll be leaning heavily on the four tools that have kept Lexical Creations running pretty much from Day 1: Asana, Clockify, Otter.ai, and Google Workspace.
It’s a simple stack, but it’s exactly what I need to maintain maximum efficiency with minimum friction no matter how tumultuous things get.
Asana holds every deliverable, deadline, and handoff across every client and project; Clockify tracks where all my time goes; Otter.ai captures details from calls and interviews so nothing gets lost in the retelling; And Google Workspace keeps documents, spreadsheets, calendars and more in a place my clients and I can both reach from anywhere at any time.
The goal is to ensure that my clients work never have to wonder what’s happening, what’s next, or where things stand, even if I’m in the middle of an unexpected whirlwind.
Clarity for them and control for me regardless of any chaos.
(Still hoping for less chaos, though!)
